Fill in a form P46 from the hmrc website and give it to your employer. In most cases the answers allow your employer, from that point onwards, to give you the default tax code i.e. the single person's personal allowance ; without waiting for a notification from hmrc.We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.

This would not be applicable in this instance as the OP has a company car.
If he had completed a P46 and been put on the emergency code on a cumulative basis they would now be looking at an underpayment, rather than a repayment of tax.[SIZE=-1]To equate judgement and wisdom with occupation is at best . . . insulting.

thing is i did complete a P46 but guess this never got sorted by our admin.........
