15k negative equity why is the brother getting away with anything he is just taking his brothers half of the negative equity, if your Oh just signed the house over to him walked away and then did not go bankrupt your Oh would have come out of the deal better out of the two.0 -

The problem with that idea is the lender is most unlikely to let husband 'just sign over the house to him' because it significantly reduces their security.0
