Boots now charging to pick up an order in store.

Options
:(!!!! I was just browing online and notice that you now have to pay to pick up your order in store if it's under £20!!!! I have had a few orders lately, for the very reason that it was free and my (large) Boots didn't have the products on their shelves, so I'm a bit disappointed about this really. The things I've ordered were Philosophy, Pixi etc.

Handy with Christmas coming up?!!! hmmmmmm I'm hoping it MAY be a temporary thing...........:D

  • Exactly!!! I thought the fact that you used your own means of getting to the store to pick it up made it free!!! ie your own fuel, bus fare etc, etc, and if the store is going to get deliveries anyway.......???

M&S pick up in store is free (makes me wonder how long for now!), it's just crazy!

    /rant over lol :)

    Exactly.

I don't thnk the charge is ureasonable as i think it was costing Boots a lot. I'm seen threads here and HUKD with grabbits where people have spent only a couple of pounds and then had it delivered to a store. This must have been costing boots a fair amount.

I will still use the deliver to store as i find it easier to collect from the store when i am ready than wait in for delivery. And THB its not hard to make an order up to £20 - everyone uses cotton wool or toothpaste.
I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler
