If you knowingly take out credit with no intention of paying it back you will end up in serious trouble.:pB&SC No. 298

Well I am afraid your mate is wrong. I would suggest you read some of the threads on this board to find out why.
If you ARE experiencing money difficulties then please get in touch with one of the debt charities who will go through your options with you. If they suggest bankruptcy then come back here and we can support you through it.
Will be back in a minute with some numbers for you.
The court/judge will normally ask whether you have taken professional advice that bankruptcy is in your best interest. If they believe you have not taken proper or sufficient advice then your bankruptcy may be refused. There are many places and organisations that you can get advice from, but the ones that people on this board have found most useful are listed below:
Main recommended sources of help:- Consumer Credit Counselling Service - Website: CCCS Telephone: 0800 138 1111
- National Debtline - Website: National Debtline Telephone: 0808 808 4000
- Citizens Advice Bureau - Website: Citizens Advice or visit your local CAB centre (find nearest)
- Business Debtline - Website: Business Debtline Telephone: 0800 197 6026
- Christians Against Poverty
- PayPlan
- TaxAid - Help with tax debts.

No one is saying that.
Bankruptcy is NOT an easy option but it is an option for some people. If you are serious then please see my first post to you and get in touch with someone like National Debtline and talk through your options with them. If they do suggest BR then as I have said we will support you through.
Have a read of the sticky the Dojo posted, that will give you some idea of what things will happen, read as many posts on here and learn. If you have questions then someone will attemot to answer them if you post a thread. But above all get yourself on the phone and find out your options.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
