some sort of satay thing with the rice and peanut butter (maybe using barley to bulk the peanut butter out) could add the pickled peppers probably

a soup with the peas and barley and onion and gravy as a sort of stock prob even add tin of toms and a tin of beans for added texture interest

dhaal made from lentils served with rice and onions nuked in microwave

chilli with beanfeast, tinned toms, tinned beans, chilli sauce, rice (add / serve with potato for more interest)

invite someone over for dinner one night and make sure they return the favour next term :)

    Fab ideas :D

I have to go: All of tomorrow, All of Wed, All of thurs.

With any luck, I'll be working at an open day on Thurs - free lunch - and i might get a takeaway with my friend to celebrate the end of term on friday ;)

The bolognaise should do at least 4 servings, i think. It claims to be a supersize family pack or something.

Today I had a sort of barlotto with the barley, 2 onions, herbs, stock cube & cheese. Wasn't bad. I've made pasta with tom sauce for tomorrow.

Ooh, and we figured how to make pretty damn good crisps in the microwave, which was exciting.

um :| sorry I don't really understand the question. You can make the packet up jut with water if that's what you mean, you don;t need extra stuff.

I have a packet and a half of spaghetti, 1 serving of pasta, about 3 servings of rice.. about 3 servings red lentils? Lots of the other pulses.

I got on fine. Didn't buy any other groceries in the last 2 weeks except a carton of soya milk.

Yeah, I'm home and trying to revise :( I have so much work to do so I'm mainly staying in, but then i get distracted by the computer etc..

Actually, I wish our terms were a bit longer and slightly less pressurised. They cram SO much in, it would be nice to have a tiny bit more breathing space. Who else has lectures on a saturday :(
