My local store had these philips steam generator irons for £50 in the clearance section. £200 on Amazon.

Got my first steam generator a couple of weeks back - CANNOT BELIEVE how much quicker and easier it makes ironing. If anyone's in doubt, buy one - you won't regret it.0

I don't think mine's a Philips but I'd agree with the post above.
They are fab.

I got mine through a Bzz campaign ages ago - and it really is soooo different from a conventional iron. Makes life much easier.

This is also a 'pressurised' steam generator (better than a normal steam generator) and no need for any cartridges to refill like some of the ones I've had in the past. Worth every penny if you can get one.0
