Where did the £75k go?
yes built up arrears on a £200k mortgage, had borrowed more on secured loan, when times seemed ok, then out of work for a while... and stealing seemed easy route to save stigma of bankruptcy and selling up...
was mess, but seemed easy way out, BUT was not, as now face increased mess... live and learn, wish i had time machine to undo so much.
It is not easy bringing up 3 kids when you are as independent and proud as i was... should have learned to scream for help and not try to do all alone...0 -
Make sure you get the best legal team you can..as the difference in sentencing between having a good team and a crap team are large...see if you and your legal team can do a deal with the judge (and yes you can do one). good luck...It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
ILW - you seem to have a fixation about what people do with £75K
Here's what you posted on my first post way back in December last year:
£75k is is a lot to misplace down the back of the sofa.
People get into financial upsets for all sorts of reasons - no-one has to justify to you what it went on, just for you to then make moral judgements on them.0 -
Surely the mortgage won't be paid whilst your in prison as you wont be getting any benefits.0
