Can anybody help, I have 2 pensions one private from years ago, maybe as long ago as 25 years back, very very small amount in it and my old works pension. I moved abroad a while ago and have lost touch with my pension companies. Is there anywhere I can write to to find out about how my pensions are doing? a general department of some sort who can tell me more about my pensions? Thanks for your help in advance

Is there anywhere I can write to to find out about how my pensions are doing?
Yes. You write to both pension providers (one being an insurance company and the other being the pensions administrator for the company scheme) and ask them for projections and value (on the personal scheme) and a statement of benefits (on the occupational scheme).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). If you cant remember the insurer or the company you worked for then you can get the DWP to do a search for you:
