Debt Management Plan

Hi
I'm currently trying to juggle dealing with all my debts and considering a debt management plan, with either payplan or CCCs, I'm hoping that in the next 2 years to get everyone paid off and then in about 6 years my partner and I would like to buy a house.
Will the debt management plan have more of an effect on my getting a mortage than if I handled things myself and also does anyone have any advice on which company is better payplan or cccs.
Thanks

However you decide to proceed here you will have your credit file trashed for some time, if you are confident enough then it can be done yourself and all you need to do is contact all your debtors and state that you want to set up a payment plan with them directly, you will then need to send an SOA to them all and they will either aggree or push for a higher payment, if you choose the Charity ones then they will do the legwork for you.0
