Please help - am in the middle of making tuna pasta bake and thought I had a tin of tomatoes in the cupboard. Turns out they were kidney beans!!:eek:

Can I use tomato soup instead or will it be too sweet?

I'd give it a go but maybe add a dash of worcestershire (sp) sauce or balsamic vinegar to tone it down, also try adding soup a bit of a time and keep tasting

I use condensed soup, any of the tomato varieties in my pasta bakes now. No need to dilute and they always taste wonderful.:) About once a quarter the condensed soups seem to go on BOGOF so a real baragin meal at about 25p per tin instead of £1.39 per jar.
