Freezing beef cooked in the slow cooker

Options
Using my new slow cooker - again! Great buy and really pleased, especially as I had a few joints of meat lurking in the freezer.

My question is - what's the best way to freeze cooked beef. Rather than be eating it all week would rather freeze the rest for another time. Is it best sliced? And does it have to be in gravy?

Thanksin advance.

I tend to slice mine and freeze it in the gravy. That way, it's an easy meal for when I get home from work - a few veg and some potatoes and it's done.
