Saving money on smoothies - best juicer?

I went for the Jack La Lanne. I too bought it on ebay, about 60 quid and some extra bits included in the pack
I must say I only bought it to use the tons of apples we have each autumn, so could make wine from said juice. Its brilliant and not too messy to clear up. It has a separate box to collect all the processed fruit/ veg
Must say I prefer to eat whole fruit, skin an all. But chose this one as its got the best recommendation re extracting the most juice.0 -

Probably too late for you now needmoney, but my MIL had a Kenwood one, but upgraded to a Champion Juicer, which are apparently the bees' knees. We got it for her off eBay.
It's dead easy to use, and clean, and not half the bother of the Kenwood one which we then inherited!"No matter how little money and how few possesions you own, having a dog makes you rich." - Louis Sabin0 -
I saw a great juicer in Tesco the other day, I think it was reduced to £10, I think, it looked like a good buy'If you judge people, you have no time to love them'

I didn't reply because I don't have a juicer. Hope you don't feel too bad about the response. Someone ALWAYS helps on MSE." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

Hi needmoney,
You aren't hopeless!I wasn't around when you posted earlier, but if I remember rightly there are a couple of good threads on juicers that might help...do you want me to look them out for you? I can't help personally because I don't have a juicer.

Hi needmoney,
I know this is loads later than you posted, but if you didn't find one maybe my advice will help!
Get a juicer with an angled spout (mine is at right angles to the juicer so it doesn't all come out) and if possible get one with a drip tray - much less mess!!!!
