Think you could be onto a Good Idea capable of a variety of adaptations there.

Had you thought of a "sweet" version of this idea as well maybe?

ok, this thread has inspired me. I read it before I went to work this morning and have been thinking about it all day.

Just lately I have got lazy, for lunch at work I have been having those pasta or noodle things you stick in a mug and add hot water, not many calories, but loads of salt and chemicals.

    Sooo

I got in at 6 tonight, stuck a pan on, sweated an onion, added some tired peppers from the bottom of the fridge, loads of mixed frozen veg (hey I work long hours, the frozen veg is better than no veg :D) added garlic and tin toms and pack of passata. Then divided it between 2 pans, in one I added more garlic and loads of dried herbs. The other I added soy sauce, 5 spice and ginger.

I now have 2 pans of very tasty sauce. Will keep one portion out for lunch tomorrow, think it will be the chinesey one and cook some noodles before work. The rest I will freeze in small portions, so noodles one day, pasta the next.

I have a very nifty pyrex dish that probably takes as much as a pot noodle, larger than the 'cook' in the mug thingsit has a lid and we , have a microwave at work.

Thanks for this thread xxxxx :T:T
