Lloyds 'Save the change' scheme

I'm not sure if anyone has given a heads up on this already as I haven't been on for a while but when I went into my branch yesterday I found a new scheme. Basically, every time you use your debit card, Lloyds will round the amount up to the nearest pound and put this into one of your savings accounts. So, for example, buy a coffee for £1.33 and they will put 67p into your savings account for you. It's designed to help you save, but the BONUS is that they will match whatever you can save (up to £50/month) in February and March! So if you're savvy and buy everything as close to 0.01p over the pound, you could get £100!!

You need to register at https://www.lloydstsb.com/savethechange or call 0845 3 000 000. (You can do this even if you're not a Lloyds customer by opening a current account, which you could close later).

Hope this helps you save/make some money
