Great 'disguised Own Brand' Hunt. - Can someone summarise this?

This is a great thread, but I am on page 5 and getting a little board.. only 27 to go!

Can someone summarise what brands we definately know are made by who?

I got brain ache!!!

  • Yes I agree - I have actually read all the thread and although there are some fab posts on there, there are also far too many posts from people saying 'well i think such and such tastes the same as blah blah so it must be made by the same company' etc

They are just opinions and the whole point of that thread (to my understanding? ) was to find out about FACTS of 'who' produces 'what' for 'which' company.

It could do with a little condensing so we don't lose interest - maybe someone could move the 'opinion' posts to a new thread, so that the 'factual' bits stay in their rightful place?

Just my idea and opinion! ;)
  • Also, it is pretty pointless having posts that state that Kellogs make Tescos own brand corn flakes. What does this provide us? Its not as if they are using the same recipe as their own Corn Flakes that everyone knows and loves... they still taste bad.

What we need are posts telling us which own brands are identical to brand name products, not just produced by the same manufacturer.

Ah, but the last sentence in the first paragraph is exactly what I mean - 'they still taste bad' is just your opinion, so it doesn't really answer the question of the 'brand hunt' thread (IYSWIM?) Although I've never tasted the Tesco ones so I may just agree :D

I agree with your second paragraph though :)
