I wanna "sunrise alarm clock"

Options
I was hoping I could get a hand finding a sunrise alarm clock. The idea is that these alarm clocks light up gradually for a while before you wakeup thus simulating a sunrise which wakes you up more naturally - like the sun coming into you cave back in prehistoric times :rotfl: .

I found a lower scale one going here http://www.pixmania-pro.co.uk/uk/uk/437758/art/naf-naf/sunrise-lamp-radio-alarm.html?srcid=867

but I was hoping someone could help find a good one for a cheap price including quidco or discounts available.

If I had words to make a day for you,
I'd sing you a morning golden and new.
I would make this day last for all time,
Give you a night deep with moonshine.

  • Not sure about the quidco aspect but is this the sort of product you were after

  • Yes. They'd be nice. Even if there was some way to bring down the cost of the one on pixmania, I'd be happy.

The Pixmania might sound a good deal but they have a terrible reputation - just google 'review of pixmania' and read the reviews - buyer beware and all that

I used them a couple of times and must admit I have never had a problem, although I am aware others have.

I have a Lumie alarm and really could not be without it. However, if you want it for the health benefits, I would be very weary of buying the one from Pixmania. It does state that it is a decorative lamp, so not really comparable to a Lumie branded clock.

The basic Lumie is £59.95 at Boots, with 1000 free Advantage Points.

At one point it was possible to buy them from the Boots pharmacy and claim back the VAT due to its health benefits (you would not be able to get the points offer with this), but I'm not sure if this is still possible.
    Gone ... or have I?
  • I think that sounds good. I reckon health benefits are worth the cost and I'll get an advantage card.

I got one from boots for someone for christmas, it's on quidco too!

The price seems to be fixed everywhere, so best to get advantage points.

I have also bought from Pixmania (couple of cameras )they were deliverd with french manual you download the english one from their site , saved about £60 altogether , quick delivery , dont know about returns as i have not had 2
  • Marvellous things, never heard of them before. Ordered one from Boots, with 1000 bonus points, 399 points from the item itself and a further 1000 with code GENK63. 2399 advantage points worth £24.00 near as dammit. Well chuffed.

Makes the basic one £36.00 with free delivery I think. Not sure as I ordered the bells and whistles ones which definitely qualified for free delivery.
