Dyson Vacuum Cleaner

Options
Thinking of buying a new vacuum cleaner, lightweight, bag-free, easy to use, possibly DC24, not ginormous in size, on the high street tomorrow.

Does anyone have any idea whether there are suitable discount codes I could use?

I want to check various cleaners before purchase, therefore don't particularly want to buy online.

Any help appreciated.

Up to a month ago I worked for an independant electrical company who specialse in repairing vacuum cleaners.

I have to be honest that 90% of the machines that came in for repair were all Dysons. I wouldnt have one given to me.

Personally I have a Henry, have had one for years and years with never a moments bother. Brilliant work horse, all the builders use them just for this. There is always the Henry Extra too if you have pets etc.

Never had to mend one at work either:T

  • What do you think of Bosch vacuum cleaners these days? I bought one about 20yrs ago and is still performing well. Paid quite a lot for it as well, even remember someone saying they saw me coming when I told them how much I'd paid for it. Glad I did now though.

Thanks for info about Henry. The cleaner used one at work before I retired, and it worked well.

If Bosch vacuum cleaners are anything like their washing machines, it's a good investment. Our washing machine is over 10 years old and never a single problem.

Our current Electrolux vacuum cleaner must be 15 to 20 years old and finally needs replacing.

Looking for something powerful yet lightweight, to carry upstairs when needed.

    Thanks for help.
