Asda price guarantee

You would think that after spending over £125 last weekend, with a massive receipt to show for it, that there would be a large number of items that would qualify for the price guarantee .... but NO, there were approximately 100 items on the bill, 52 items for comparison and 38 different but only £48.74 of goods was used for the comparison. I think that I may listen to other posters and go to Lidl's or Aldi's in future. I rarely get a coupon from Asda, actually only 2 since the scheme started, so may move my business elsewhere.
Not happy as my weekly shop is usually in the region of £100 so every penny saved helps :exclamati

Why not post your comparison so we can see what was or wasn't compared? I regularly get small vouchers - 20p or so, but only bother to print the larger ones that are maybe a £1 or more (only ever get a few of those). However my basket is only £20 to £30 a time. At the end of the day, the only way to be guaranteed of big vouchers is to buy things you *know* are cheaper in other stores, and not to buy anything that is on offer in Asda. As they are comparing the total basket value, one big saving say on a big beer multipack can easily wipe out the higher prices on other items in your basket - so you won't qualify for a voucher.0

I have had loads of vouchers! Used one yesterday for £2.14, checked today and got one for 53p. Not much, but as Tesco says "Every little helps!"I Believe in saving money!!!:T
