Advice Needed

I need some advice, I have over 18,000 of debt, I have an issue with one of the creditors being included in the DMP as one of my parents works for them.

My parents dont know about my situation and would be absolutely mortified and ashamed.

When I spoke to CCCS to make an appointment I mentioned my situation and they said the loan had to be included.

I dont know what to do, it has to be included as all money paid to CCCS has to be distributed fairly to all creditors, but I am so worried about parents finding out. but then maybe it might be a good thing if they did as keeping it from them is stressing me out.

Not sure why they would find out? CCCS won't tell them, and neither will the creditor, unless it is a really small place where it would be obvious.

If it is causing you that much stress, then I suggest that you agree to CCCS's plan and then tell your parents at the same time. They may be upset about the amount of debt you are in, but less so if you are already doing something about it

i agree tell them at the same time im sure they would prefer to hear it from you that from anywhere else and it will save you alot of worry bout lying to them and you dont know they might be v suportive and have other ideas for you
