problems after buying a house

survey what every survey says latley as the survey doesnt mean taking fires off and checking back boilers will need to be checked. and i didnt actually excpect it to work. so i was suprised when they said it did, but i didnt expect it to have 20 years of rust on it will flames coming off it. so basically all your opionins are tough **** cos im a first time buyer im gonna get screwed over by the seller lying because law states they can? thats what im getting from this

Sounds a bit harsh really, I would be annoyed if this happened to me,thanks for the heads up and I hope you sort this!

Its got nothing to do with being a FTB, i'm sure things like this happens to lots of other buyers ....... its a learning curve thats all.

If when you buy a property you are concerned by certain areas, it is advised you have them independently checked out before exchange of contracts in case of problems, like this! You didnt, therefore have no recourse IMO.

Speak to your solicitor and pursue this further, only then you can attain peace. At least you can revel in the knowledge that you tried.
