Has anyone used Perfect Formula Strengthen & Seal Gel Coat? Either the clear or pink.
I had had Acrylics continuously for about 12 years and i love them, but over the next two months I’m manically busy (moving house / changed shifts / family commitments) and could really do with not having to pencil in a day to get my nails done every two weeks.
I’ll go back to Acrylics; but for the interim was looking at the Perfect formula products on QVC and they might be my answer.
I’m not looking at treating my nails as such; I’m anaemic, suffer from a low thyroid, and no matter what i do my own nails are rubbish. I’m looking for a paint-on-product which will keep my nails long and tough.
This looks really simple; paint on and normal remover to remove. You can put polish over the top or leave them bare. I know you can get DIY Acrylic kits but they look mega complicated.
It’s not cheap, but I’m using to spending £25 a fortnight for my acrylics so would be a saving.
Reviews on MUA; and QVC both seem positive and was wondering if anyone here had tried it?

My sister sent me a kit from Canada which includes this. I quite like it but I am not sure if the improvement in my nails is due to this or me taking better care of them. The best thing I have ever bought for my nails is an OPI glass nail file.It seals the edges and seems to stop the splitting. HTH0

Thank you.
I have bought a Leighton Denny Glass file as well; as i'm worried my nails will split and everyone reconmends them.
I bought the Gel Coat so i'll give it a go - was just worried it sounded too good to be true.I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler0 -
It was a little thicker than normal polish but one coat was all that I was using. The pink colour made them look nice though. The bottle is quite generous too.0
