Recycling Old Cameras

Hi, just wondered where old cameras can go, I can't seem to find anything like the ones that take mobile phones and ink cartridges when they give a donation to charity. No-one on freecycle wants it. Any ideas?

Is it still working or not? What type is it? If it's still working some college student might like it.
Oherwise god knows

It's a kodak APS camera, it works but all the things that tell you which button does what have rubbed off. I did notice a freecycler a while ago asking for photography equipment so might try and find that post - otherwise I'm clueless

You could try auctioning it on ebay - there may be a collector who's interested."Some say the cup is half empty, while others say it is half full. However, this is skirting around the issue. The real problem is that the cup is too big."0

Can't see a collector wanting an APS camera. They're happy snappy type things with very slow film speed so don't give good quality results. Film and processing is expensive too. I'd give it to a charity shop if it was mine.0

Yeah no market for APS stuff now, film and pocessing is expensive and AFAIK the film will soon stop being produced.0
