Now begins Credit Clean-up

Well, I was discharged a little over three months ago. My name has dropped off the online insolvency register, so now begins the dreary business of credit clean-up.

I don't see why this should be necessary, as in I don't see why it shouldn't be automated when you are discharged.

I've applied for my statutory credit reports from Experian and Equifax online. The latter was fairly painless, the former somewhat irritating: to verify my identity they were asking me ludicrous questions about credit accounts I had six years ago. In the end they made me e-mail them scanned copies of my passport and a utility bill. Presumably these are not difficult to forge using PhotoShop and whatnot but, hey, there's no arguing with these people.

I already have my CallCredit report as I'm a member of Noddle. It is FULL of errors and will need massive cleaning up.

Ugh.
