Hi,
This is a bonafide non-profit site which allows you to register and see your credit report - I have just registered and it cost me nothing, apart from getting a newsletter from them once in a while.
They will send me my authentication code via post, then I can log on and see my details.
They have been featured on BBC breakfast and magazines (I noticed an article about them in a financial magazine, saying they were a 'new breed' of credit reporting).
Hope this helps someone :T

Hi Stacey,
There are 3 credit reference agencies. They are called Experian, Equifax and Call Credit.
Some lenders will only use 1 or 2 of these, so when you make an application it will not appear on all credit reports.
This one I think uses Call Credit which is a relative newcomer to the market and less well used.
I think this is probably the least useful of the 3 credit reports to get.
If you want to get your Experian or Equifax reports then you can either join up for their free trials (note you need to give a card number and you MUST cancel on time if you don't want to be charged).
Alternatively you can get your statutory report throught the post (within about a week) for £2.
There are also more expensive service available to get your credit report on-line instantly but you are legally entitled to it for £2 (through the post).0 -
Yeah thats what I meant, as I had already looked at Equifax etc but wanted to see what this annualcredit report held on me. I think its quite misleading to people who perhaps dont understand the process much. For example, on annualcreditreport it suggest that as I have no 'credit footprints' on my account, this is a bad thing and I should start to apply for some things. Now, I know that on Experian and Equifax I have footprints on, so if I hadn't checked those first may have thought these had expired?:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin0

I have access to mine, I too have no indication of any credit searches!???!
But all that are on my report are correct!
It really is worth it to view what is being placed on your name!
It is free but if you want instant access you can pay £1.77 to gain a password to your email. If you want to see a rainbow, you have to get used to the rain.0 -
I went to get a report from these, took ages and then said "sorry we can not provide you with a report"
Rubbish really0 -
Thanks - just saw it and don't know their background or anything - prob not worth it then but as have already applied, will see... Experian and Equifax have my details, although the Experian file is much more comprehensive 9and professional) than Equifax.
Can anyone tell me:
1) Do Sainsburys use Experian or Equifax?
2) Do M&S use Experian or Equifax?
Many thanks
