Residential status on loan application?

Noob! Longtime lurker 1st time poster etc with a question!
When applying for a personal loan, what do I put as my residential status?
Usually, your options are homeowner without mortgage (!), homeowner with mortgage, rented, with parents and good old generic "other".
Basically, our home is mortgaged but my husband is the only one on the mortgage due to my dire credit history. We have no financial associations (joint accounts etc) either.
Am I stuck with "other" and how do you think this is viewed by lenders?
Thanks in advance for your help guys! This forum rocks!:T

Homeowner with mortgage. You live with your husband and that is the status of the house.
But are you sure you will get a loan if you have dire credit history? The chances are the only providers who will accept you will be sub prime and charge huge interest rates. Can you not save up instead?0 -
Thanks tom188. Problem defaults are nearly all gone, but were lovely and fresh when we bought the house together!
Thanks for the advice about the status though, much appreciated.
