Hi aakayb,
I called them yesterday. I am moving home so was looking to cancel and resubscribe to take advantage of offers but the guy said that because they are now offering broadband as a package that there will be no special deals on SKY TV alone.
Just one guys word but hope it is useful,

Sky aren't interested at mo, but maybe soon,
as NTL/Telewest are relaunching as Virgin Media next month and they are deliberatly taking Sky on for stopping them getting hold of ITV
So they are launching their version of a Sky+/PVR box, it does HD too has a 160gig drive and is already available in some areas. Called TV drive?
This thread is hot, but NTL sales are mon-fri so has quietened down for the weekend, expect it to revive tomorrow. :T

NTL have given me the new HD triple tuner PVR, a normal NTL box upstairs, 2meg broadband and phone line for £50 a month. I dont get the movie or sport channels though.
Not sure if this is a good deal or not but it works for me!0 -
Hi
I rang Sky yesterday to give 30 days notice to my current deal.
Very nice lady at cancellations said that there are no offers of any kind at the moment.
Tried to get me to pay £15 for the basic package, but as I really did want to cancel, she gave in. !0 -
Might have found an offer for sky + for half price subscription.0
