offer on in Newmarket, 15 items for £5.00, got lots of prezzies for party presents over the year and some for next christmas!!
  • Anybody been to the one at The Fort, Edinburgh. Was thinking about heading up there if the offer is on my girls LOVE claires accessories.
They took my signature away!!!!
  • It depends on the store as in one shop I got ANY sale item in the offer as part of the 10 for a fiver, then in other stores it was just little things and bags/shoes were 3 for £5

I popped into my local branch of Clairs on Monday lunchtime and they had loads of lovely stuff but limited myself to 30 items and paid £15 for them.
Whilst at the till I was talking to the girl serving me telling her I'll cut it all up as I make my own jewellery and what a bargain this offer was. The girl worked out that full retail price it should have been was £144. Nearly 90% discount!!!Bargain - or so I thought
For some reason I turned round and jokingly said 'How much for the lot?' She looked at me and said 'Are you serious?' and then i thought, why not? if she comes up with a huge price I can always say no. So i said 'Yes I'm serious.' She said you can have the lot for.....wait for it.....£5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it. I doubled checked and she said yep – she wasn’t meant to but its only sale stuff they want to get rid of. The girl was actually the manager.
So I phoned work told them I'd be a little late back and spent an hour taking off all the jewellery from their two sale stands!! I had to get the car to the back of their shop as the bags were too heavy to carry!! I felt bad only paying a £5 so I gave them £10 lol! and slipped her £5 to say thanks.

As all the stuff still had the original prices on it, I totted it up last night and the full retail price would have been over £2200 for 667 pieces of jewellery and it cost me £30!!!

The old adage ‘Don’t ask, don’t get’ really can be true!
