Hi advice needed !!

Mortgage £93000 House aprox value £350000

Credit card debt 8000

car loan debt 3800

overdraft 2500

House hold income aprox £22000

No missed morgage or card payments!!

Aprox 15 years left on mortgage

Mortgage with B and B which no longer do mortgages

What chance have we getting new mortgage with enough extra to pay off existing debts above so have just 1 monthly payment which will be our mortgage only.

We pay £603.10 a month for our mortgage but could obviously afford more as would have no added debt !!!!!!!!!!

Halifax is one of the more "generous" lenders, however its affordability calculator indicates a maximum mortgage of £89,545 for a sole applicant with an "A" pass earning £22k, a LTV of 40% and a term of 15 years.

    £108k does not appear feasible.

Do a Statement of Affairs http://www.makesenseofcards.co.uk/soacalc.html post the result on the DebtFreeWannabe's forum and follow the advice you get, which will be
    • cut down your expenditure
    • sell anything you can do without
    • increase your income
    • you cant cure debt with debt
    • pay down your debt, usually highest interest first, but sometimes quickest repaid first
    but with more specifics
