Cold pizza slices, cocktail sausages, cheese cubes and pineapple! Ritz crackers and vegetable batons with some philadelphia to dip them in! Scotch eggs! Pinwheel jam sarnies (take crust off bread roll really thin with rolling pin, spread with jam or marmite or peanut butter, roll up and cut into bite sized pieces), my daughter used to love those!

Last year I bought us all a food flask from Lakeland. Pricey at £20ish but it has been so worthwhile. My son is nearly 15 and when I ask if he'd rather ever have sandwiches, he says he will never go back.
I have 4 strategies.
1. Last night's dinner
2, pasta, veg and quick sauce of some kind. Eg this morning I mixed up some philly, tomato and pepper paste and peas.
3. Noodles from approved food with veg and soy sauce.
4. Whoopsied ready meals, which I freeze when I see them and he regards as a treat.
The thing to remember is that instead of a big list of different things, a meal from flask is complete and filling and only needs a bit of dessert to finish it off.
For my lunches I make soup.
