wilkos is pretty crap anyway, i mean it reminds me of woolworths, what does it exactly sell they i cant get somewhere else

I used to work for a high street shop and items that were 1p on the system were previously on recall for old stock. If they were in the store it was an error, they should have been taken off shelves and sent back.

That might be why they are amending the price at the till. We occasionally let customers have the item, at a reduced price, but not 1p.

That being said, I am off to try my luck this afternoon! Will get some chews for my dogs at full price and hope the sales assistant doesn't notice the reductions!

Can anyone tell me if they have reduced the larger plastic walk in green houses any further?

I want one for my rented house but don't want to pay a fortune as the last one was rubbish and lasted a few months.

Hi there - I went in to our local Wilkinsons today and didn't find anything for 10p, just 50-75% off. I did get some staging for the greenhouse for £4 though - which I thought was quite a bargain :j

Mostly gardening stuff & other bits and bobs in my local this morning (Rushden), I grabbed some sunflower seeds for 10p and some fablon what was reduced by 75% - Fab!! (sorry ) and a couple of 'chocoholics' coaster's for 40p each.

Just got a few bits from Derby. Some at 50% off (some good stationery bargains like 4 rolls Pritt type glue & 2 rolls sticky tape for 50p), some 75% off (water pistols, garden stuff generally) & some bargains- parasol 80p, spray bottles 10p, kebab sticks 5p. Seemed to have plenty and bringing new stuff out while I was there (like the parasols).

Just bought these lanterns for hanging on trees in garden for 20p in K'Lynn. SA said they were originally over £3 each.

Hoping it will look like fairy grotto when I have friends round. Also a couple of shaded swimming pools for 50p, decorative birds 20p, a 'princess' ball 20p and ant killer 24p.

The lanterns were being unpacked and priced as I walked in, but I took the remaining red ones - left some yellow and glass bowl ones. Had a good shopping trip as I struck it lucky on way home - £10 note just lying on pavement and not a soul in sight!
