This was fraud on her account TROLL, she should not have to pay it, banks writ off fraud debt unless they can catch the fraudsters, which in this case the OP isn't.

If my memory serves me right from reading posts on here from quite a while ago Troll works for a DCA. OK fair enough it can give a different side to the picture and give sound advice but in this case the posts are very unhelpful and usually offensive. Best to ignore

I clearly state 'unless there are other circumstances that you haven't noted I would certainly not ignore it as suggested.' We now have the full story from KittyKate so know the additional circumstances i.e. that previously the fraud issue had been resolved with RBOS.

Simply ignoring it will not help her at all - neither will all your guff.
