Videographer and marryoke!

Hi Im wondering who's having/had a videographer?
How much did it cost and what was included?
Id love to have a video of our special day, Ive heard so many friends who are married saying their only regret is not having a video!
And if we do have a videographer Id love to do a marryoke style piece! Anyone done that?
Ideas, help and advice always welcome, judgements and assumptions are not!!

I didn't have a videographer and was glad not to, tbh - I've never come across a good one at all the weddings I've been to - I don't know why, but they always seem a lot more bossy, overbearing and plain obvious than photographers. We borrowed a camcorder from our parents and had a friend film the speeches, which was the only thing we wanted to see again - and were quite happy with that.

i had one- it was the best thing ever-- we watched the dvd on saturday night :)

our cost £225- should have been double but i won a competition :) so should have been £450
it was a husband and wife- arrived to greet the guests, bridal entrance, cermoney, speeches and first dance- and a couple of dances after
they were brilliant all the guests loved them
my guests said that they were not in the way and they didnt feel intimidated by the cameras (we had 2 videocameras- and a normal camera from our photographer)
i am so glad that we booked a videographer and i think we will look at it more than the photos to be honest!!

it captures the feeling of the day and it was brilliant
i cant recommend them (the company or videographers in general) enough!

Our wedding video is hilarious. It was great to look back on the things that we missed out on as we were elsewhere, and the things that went wrong. Like my Gran not going up for her reading because she didn't realise she had to, and us coming into the wedding breakfast before we were announced as 'Mrs and Mrs'

Marryoke is tacky, but as long as you know full well that it's tacky and that's why you want to do one, it's all fine!
