Hi, I sent all info and they sent it back on the 26th. Was told it would be 72 hours before I would get an answer. After calling a call centre in India I am getting nowhere. They just keep saying try in 72 hours. Getting frustrated as Barclays called today asking me what my salary was and what my P60S said. I already sent all that and they had all that info. I'm getting a new build so I dont have a lot of time and if they say no I'm knackered. Also before they say yes do they have to do a valuation? Could be tricky as house has only just started to be built. Any advice, help would be greatly appreciated as I feel in limbo at the moment. A big thing for me as a single mum doing it all on my own.

We received our valuation (well, it's a HomeBuyer Report) from esurv and I have to say I am impresssed. The house is about 10 yrs old so I did not expect anything major, however I wanted the report to highlight things that might need attending to on a non-urgent basis (e.g roof tiles, guttering, window seals, etc.) and that is exactly what is there. I'm sure the feedback on esurv is dependent on the surveyor, so in this instance I would give them & their surveyor ( C. Kiddier) the thumbs up.

We are now hoping Barclays have everything they need. Next is the mortgage offer .. fingers crossed.
