halifax existing customer loans

Thanks! I am not desperate for the loan at the moment, just considering it for consolidation but would only bother if it was a really good rate. I think I will wait a while and keep checking the calculator to see if the rate comes down. I had a spell last year with late payments to other lenders that I think impacted on my credit rating, but it should be improving all the time so am hoping the loan rate offered will also improve! I have a current account and mortgage with them, and also got a pre-approved credit card from halifax earlier this year so was hoping for a decent loan rate. Don't want to apply and leave credit search footprint if the rate is going to be poor so that I don't even take up the loan, would rather wait a while I think...0

The APR offered on the calculator whilst logged in is now linked to your internal risk band. Can I find out my credit score? You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)0

the actual rate offered can change upon a full application. Normally down a bit but 95% of the time that rate is pretty accurate0

is it me or does it now only take you to the online loan application, two days ago it gave me rates?Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
