Ballet pumps/folding after party shoes?

Hi all,
I am going to a wedding in a couple of weeks, I plan to wear a maxi dress and I fancy a soft pair of ballet pumps that I can pop on for dancing in the evening. Trouble is I have very wide feet, so I want to find some that are made from stretchy fabric if possible. I bought some leather ones from ebay but they are as hard as a rock and not at all comfy. I have seen folding ones that go in your handbag but while they are made of fabric it is not stretchy so they would not fit me. If all else fails I can buy some Totes/Isotoner ballet pump slippers but I would rather have something with a slighty better sole if possible.
PLease has anyone seen anything that would suit? I would really need to by online as not much chance to go shopping.
TIA,
Slinky_Malinky

I know of some that are foldy/elasticated and they fit in your handbag. Is that the sort of thing you're looking for? I can't remember the name, but visit girlmeetsdress dot com - the last time I visited their site they stocked them.

I have wide feet and am size 9 so feel your pain!
I bought a similar pair to these last year in the sales in an Outfit store, is it something like this that you want?
Mine are comfy and wide enough for me

I bought a black pair from Avon a couple of years ago, might be worth looking on their website. Cost me £10.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Thanks for all your replies. I currently have the Evans pumps ready to return - the size 5 was sold out and the 6 is sadly way too big at the back of the heel. The other suggestions are all lovely shoes but sadly not wide fitting or stretch fabric and my trotters are so wide I cannot even get my foot into a standard width shoe.
Looks like I am destined to wear these slippers...

..oh dear, the absolute shame of wearing slippers at a `do` makes me feel like a proper granny
but comfort must prevail over vanity!
UPDATE Had a browse through the Totes and found some slippers with outdoor soles, I think I will get away with these so have ordered them, plus some grippy driving gloves ready for winter .

I have seen these shoes in Primark, I think they were in the slippers section. Also Primark have a new range of wide fitting shoes, and I have a pair that fit in my bag0

Have you checked New Look? They usually have cheap ballet pumps, and have a "Wide Fit" range. I have fairly wide feet but the normal range from there fit me!0

Who wants to know my trick?!
I love wearing heels but on the rare occassion I go out I tend to get the bus to where the bars are and there is a 5 minute walk from my house to the bus stop.
I always carry a medium sized gift bag (recycled usually!), inside of which I have a pair of normal flat shoes/pumps. I just look like I am going to a party. The benefit is that I can interchange the shoes as the bag is big enough for heels so if we decide to walk to another bar, or we are somewhere where it I might be standing or dancing for ages I can just quickly swap and don't have to carry the heels visibly. Also, I can take a seperate cute little clutch to match my outfit without worrying about the size being big enough, and I can leave my gift bag under the table with friends when nipping to the ladies or the bar.1 -
I have these, they are so soft they bend in half. Not sure about the width, New Look do, do a wide fitting range though.

I have some called Butterfly twists, they seem to fit my wide/plump feet.0
