More than one account with Mr T??

If you set up another account is it simply to get extra codes for points?

I assume that if you have more than one account you would have to present the clubcard relating to that account to get the extra points (as the extra points vouchers always have my name on).

So can the points be collated with existing accounts?

Myself and mr Welshy had single accounts - this meant as long as there was 150 points on the cards at each quarter we would receive tesco clubcard vouchers as well as bonus vouchers. Then someone at Tescos decided to merge the two accounts together.

I phoned Tescos and explained that we wanted seperate accounts - the lady was very apologetic and said it was tricky to do this and advised me to open another account. I did this and myself and Mr Welshy have seperate mailings with seperate vouchers.

As for using the vouchers with names on, people do use other peoples (eg there are always points vouchers for sale on ebay) and if you present a voucher with Mrs Smith on it then hand over your clubcard keyfob they cannot check to see if the name differs and the points will go onto your clubcard.

Interestingly, I was mystery shopping at a certain supermarket(s) and one question was to ask if I could use my friends vouchers ........... you would be surprised to hear the responses.

Interesting thread as never thought about doing this. Will set one up for hubbie in the morning. Just as long as we only put little things on his I don't mind, lol!!!
I get the feeling Mr Welshy enjoys the benefits but not the time and energy spent, lol!!!!

Mr Welshy is quite happy to have his own account - as for a love of vouchers no not really he is still work in progress on the voucher training front LOL

He's not particularly interested in vouchers just the savings I can and have achieved to date :beer:

Oh dear ... Think this is maybe a Clubcard Anonymous meeting .... here goes ...

My name is LittleBill ... I am a Clubcard-A-holic ... I have managed to acquire 5 accounts over time ....

1 was my original ... had for about 9 years
1 was my partners ... since before we met
1 is a joint credit card/clubcard

I have this year signed up twice again ... I'm a point-o-phile

All are signed up to HLC, B&T Wine & Food Clubs ... all hold the same details and although Clubcard merge my oldest account with another on the statement ... mainly they get along happily together and I do not think I have a problem ... (denial)
