I think carrots always work better than sticks, encourage NRPs to contribute, not force thm to pay, I'm sure one method will be recieved much easier than the other.
Trying to encourage my ex to contribute never worked, she had to be forced to pay. Now my daughter is 19 and still in full time education and she doesn't have to pay anything through the CSA for her now, nothing is going to make her contribute anything now.
It backfired on her a bit because I'm not in a well paid job now after being made redundant and the only way to make ends meet was to get rid of my car which just about made up the difference. So she now has to come down from the Midlands to spend time with our son which unfortunately is becoming a rare occurence.0 -

For me I contribute, I don't pay0 -
Im not sure whether DUTR was referring to me in the post about double standards maybe I didn't explain the situation properly.
My hubby did stop his payments for 2 months as 1 PWC was receiving all csa when the other pwc wasn't receiving any and csa were supposedly sorting it out. This had gone on for 7 months and after complaing and lots of phonecalls and waiting for them to get back to him, nothing was getting sorted so he thought if he stopped paying they would sort it out quicker it wasn't that he was refusing to pay just wanting his children to get an equal share.0 -
