I made chicken and rice soup today (although it turned out more like chicken casserole) but tastes great!!! and i've enough left for lunch or dinner for 2 days
I usually use a whole chicken breast, however, it was a very large piece so i cut it in half and will use the other half 2moro nite to make sweet and sour chicken ... i'd never have done that before finding MSE it would all have been in the soup
Homemade bread is cooking in the bread machine and should be ready any minute... just need to resist eating it as soon as its out the machine :rotfl:
So lunch for work is sorted for 2moro, tuesday and wednesday!
Entered some competitions so heres hoping
need to do some housework but just cant be bothered
All the same its another no spend day so its all good :T

I've just made a big pot of soup for lunches this week and have started a spending diary (again!).
I've fallen off the waggon a bit lately because my Dad is ill in hospital and I've been overspending as a way of coping. Going to try and deal with it in a more positive way this week though so I'm going to a yoga class tomorrow. The best things in life aren't things.0 -

* Listed 3 dvds and a book on ebay
* Started the slowcooker on a big pot of soup. Although I went a bit overboard with chopping veggies out of the fridge and didn't have much room for liquid, so will probably end up more stew than soup!
* Went to Tesco for jeans for DH and a newspaper with free yoga DVD for me and did not come home with anything extra
