Endowments: WP bonus season kicks off

  • Dunstonh, nope - they won't allow that.

    The relationship between surrender and guaranteed bonus is doing my head in a bit though. The latter has gone up by £27 (.25%), but the surrender shot up by £2500 (10%).

    So, annual bonus will I think continue to rise by £30 per year or so, meaning that the TB in 6 years will have to be 220% to hit my mortgage and 180% to hit the 5.5% mid-level growth forecast i.e £15K short.

    The surrender is now 6K shy of the guaranteed bonus and presumably will not be rising at £2.5K a year even if stock market growth continues.

    Thats a pain. They did different versions over the years and some did. Plus they bought some companies that did (London & Manchester for example).

    I can imagine you thinking sods law that yours doesnt.
