Mortgage...credit report problems

Hi everyone
I have my credit reports from call credit and equifax. Some confusion over an entry from lloyds. Opened a joint account with fiance last April,.but lloyds have listed the account and also listed the same account as opened and closed within a week of each other. Should I be worried and try to sort it? If so how?
I have a decision in principle already and my credit score is good (628) but says 5 out of 5

To make it clearer 2 entries on credit reports of same account. Start date both the same, one active and one closed a week after it was opened0

Also should we get rid of credit cards we don't use which are paid off?0

Anyone? Please help0

I would probably get rid of the credit cards you don't use as they will show as unused credit and Experian told me that lenders don't like to see lots of credit that isn't being used as it can reduce your credit score and they wonder why you are asking for more (that was the way it was explained to me anyway).
Close them and just keep running the one(s) you have in a timely manner and it will help elevate your score, it does take a month or so once they have been closed to show on your file though.0
