Credit Check (experian) Aliases?

As my wife & I have started looking for a new home & 1st mortgage together, I decide to check my credit file.
Everything seems fine & satisfactory (credit score 999) apart from the section that states
Names you may otherwise be known by (Aliases)

I have 13!!!:o
They are all at the same address & the only differences are that sometimes my middle name is included or they have my previous surname ( although I changed it in 2005 by deed poll) from 2008/2009?

Would this effect my chances of a mortgage? :o

Comments

  • This section is to prevent fraud - as long as the lender can see that some are just minus you middle name, and have the evidence and disclosure of your name by deed poll - you should be ok.

Discuss this with your mge adviser/lender pre submission, and include an appendum with your application confirming the same, together of course with a certified copy of your deed of name change.

    Hope this helps
