  • I've been wondering about this for a while.
Tesco.com does not show the full extent of instore offers (bogofs, 3for2 etc). While internet offers may be different from in store the customer still has to pay the price instore on the day of their delivery. Some recent examples include bogof on Fox's biscuits and bogof on Phillias Fogg crisps. I was comparing prices between tesco and Asda online, but when I got to the store there were offers I didn't know about.(I checked again when home). It's been talked about here for ages that some of the cheaper ranges are not shown online, but deliberately hiding offers seems like desperation on tesco's part.
This isn't fair for the regular online shopper - take a bogof offer for example; for no extra cost the customer could get 1 extra item, but they need to put it in the basket to receive it. How would you know to do that?
