and quality is ok as well

yes it is good find :T :T :T

it works out at just under 17p a roll.......

home bargins..... i dont think there is one of them near me......

can i just say this thread is not a survey for the best loo roll each to their own.....it was just to high light that this particular brand is on offer... and imo a good bargin.....to save pennies...... i thought the info might have been of use to some peeps who want to save money.... and get value for their pennies....

i tend the buy the tesco value stuff. although i must say that if i ever buy better "quality" loo roll it does seem to last longer.

the tesco value is £1.40 for 9 rolls though.

  • I don't have any issues with the softness of Nouvelle and i have a fairly active digestive system! :rotfl:

I bought a 12 pack in Home Bargains for about £2.50 the other day, then saw the deal in tescos, d'oh :) (either way better than my boyfriend who insists on buying bloody 2 packs at the corner shop!)

My family and friends all think Nouvelle is perfectly soft and adequate for the job it does! Can't beleive people are so snooty about wiping their backsides-in India they use their hands!
At least Nouvelle is recycled and fair superior to supermarkets own recycled!
Don't beleive for a minute people would rather use up valuable resources, damaging our precious planet because their bottom is too delicate for recycled paper. I really hope that if you refuse to use recycled you are using newspaper.
Not directed at anyone in particular, just those that need quilted, moisturised softer than ever because they have abnormal bottoms.

The Which survey seperated the good from the not so good.I agree that Nouvelle maybe adequate for the job, but I like that extra quality.

As for them using their hands in India.I was surprised to here that.
I had always wondered why my Indian Maths teacher had such smooth hands

Charmin actually have only 180 sheets per roll against the 'normal' 240. This makes the cost per 240 sheets @ 22p. Still a good buy though.
I usually wait for a quality paper to go on sale at about 18p per roll and buy a year's supply.

When I traveled around India many locals used their hand (which is why they are so specific which hand they greet you with!!-many also just did it in ths sea) I do not imply under any circumstances that all Indian's practise this form of bottom-wiping!:D
I am however really shocked that in this day and age people would choose to use valuble resources on their bums and saddened that a "Which' survey would be so degrading and encourage the use of quilted tree killer duvet soft cushioned puppy loving paper.
Toilet paper and nappies that aren't recycled should be banned and illegal!! (Not saying this because I always manage to do it, but if it was banned there would be no choice!)

How do you recycle your toilet paper? - hang it up to dry? or use both sides? The pegs I use always tear the paper.
It's not the taking part but the winning that counts.
