Hi all! :hello:
Apologies if this has been posted already but I've been looking up ideas for homemade things I can put in jars for Christmas hampers and came across this link to a rather massive free  publication with loads and loads of gifty jar ideas...
http://dan99.blogspot.com/2008/10/gifts-in-jar.html
There's a link to a pdf file on the above page, I will be spending my afternoon trawling through it and making scribbly notes. Rather annoyingly it's in 'cups' not good old English measurements so I found a good housekeeling link that should help...

2 tablespoons = 1/8 cup = 1 fluid ounce
4 tablespoons = 1/4 cup = 2 fluid ounces
5 tablespoons = 1/3 cup = 2 2/3 fluid ounces + 1 teaspoon
6 tablespoons = 3/8 cup = 3 fluid ounces
8 tablespoons = 1/2 cup = 4 fluid ounces

Hope that's of some use to someone.
So far on my list of Christmas in a jar ideas I've got red onion marmalade, lemon curd, strawberry jam, festive fudge and maybe a christmassy chutney. Once I've been through that enormous booklet I should have Christmas sorted, and it's only September :T think that merits a cup of tea!
