My aim is to be debt free by my 35th birthday to start saving for a 'nice' house deposit as well, and at my worst, was around £21k in debt!
Good luck.
Hey DebtTwin! You're right that is very similar to my story! Do you mind if I ask how old you are now? We definitely should stay in touch to spur each other on and keep up with how each other is getting on!
Sorry for the hijack Cleggie

Might be worth asking for your credit limits to be lowered if you are keeping the accounts open to use for small amounts and pay off in full regularly.
This will stop any temptation, just in case, and will also lower the amount of Available Credit you have, which can put lenders off in future as they can think what's to stop you suddenly maxing these out and not being able to afford to pay them back.Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
I am aiming to be debt free by the age of 33, which gives me just over a year! I think thats fine with only £2000 to pay. I can hardly believe i will be debt free next year!!
My next plan will be to get my CR as good as possible, and also start saving money as i have never had savings before!!
Monkeynut- i didnt even know i could ask to have them lowered!!
T.J- thanks fot that link, will have a good read of it later with a cuppa!0
