Tesco said it would be simplifying promotions, reducing buy-one-get-one-free deals in favour of everyday lower prices.
It will also end a "Double Clubcard" points promotion in four weeks - reinvesting the cash in cheaper deals.
But points handed out under the loyalty card scheme will have FOUR TIMES the value - up from three - meaning bigger discounts at restaurant chains such as Strada, Cafe Rouge and Pizza Express.
Mr Brasher said: "We're giving customers a more straightforward shop - reducing the number of promotions and putting the emphasis on clear and reliable savings that everyone can benefit from."0 -

shame as the double points and 3x vouchers was and is around 50% better than single point and 4x
mind you if we can still redeeam the current vouchers at 4x then even better
suppose we are lucky it took them so long to work that one out!!

I did a persil survey this morning and was rewarded with a 50p off voucher. I was able to choose from all the unilever products which one I wanted to print.:)
I did them yesterday and never got any just the initial £1 off the item of your choice:(
