used the bic coupon £1 1st page (currently all bic 25% off at boots also so great saving ) at boots today how friendly they are regarding coupons, shame some of the other old trouts took notice.

The girl was pleased the offer was back on & couldnt wait to get home to print a few out herself. Dunno wether the staff are trained in relation to coupons or just friendly all around

Once again thanks to MT & all the others for this thread, my savings are growing by the week

I had a laugh in Mr T's earlier, was on the SS tills as only had a few bits and bobs and was using a JTD voucher, it came up as usual autorisation required and the woman who came over was like oh no we don't take those! Had to explain to her what it was and then she told me I would have to go to CS with it because it wouldn't scan, so I told her it just needed her to swipe her little card then click approve and all would be fine, so she did that and lo and behold it worked! She was very impressed :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I really do despair sometimes :rotfl:Did brighten up my day though

yes agree had a we problem a colple of months back on a normal til

once had explained to sa how to proces 0 priced vouchers thanked me as has not been shown..

I have to say a big :beer: for marmite - I filled in the feedback/report a problem form after the ink ran out half way through printing and they sent an email within 3 hours giving me another chance to print.

In Savers yesterday they accepted the coupon for the dettol hand wash system - it was 4.99 and got £3 off! There were two SA and one asked me if it was from the internet and I said I received it in a email and they had to call over another woman to double check it was ok! She oked it and it was fine. Today I went into WHSmith and used the £1 coupon as expired today.. they queried it at first asking where it was from.. I said from email again and they accepted it.. and said to each other that they had been told that they can accept anything apart from Lenor coupons! Lenor in WHSmith!!! :rotfl:Now have nice mag to enjoy!

I used Colgate voucher today for Plax mouthwash at Mr T's.. it has gone up in price to £2.00 instead of £1 and expiry was today.. I had the last one. An SA was nearby and I asked her if there were any others, she checked on her PDA and it said they had none in stock :rotfl:so I was lucky to get the last one! There was a dopey lad on the till just staring into space.. I asked him if he would accept my voucher... and he said "oh yeah" and it wouldnt scan so he typed it in no prob! lol!
