I don't know if this is the right forum, forgive me if it's wrong!
I'm looking to sell some of my cds, make a bit of room and more importantly some cash! I've looked at what prices I'd get from CEX and from Music Magpie but I was wondering if there's another place I could try who pay better? I usually sell my stuff on eBay but I won't for my cds because they're difficult things to sell on there.
Thanks for any advice!

hi becky have you looked at selling them on Playtrade (on Play.com)
:money:squaaaaaaaaacccckkkkkk!!!! :money:0 -
Amazon or discogs are worth a look.
It really depends what it is though - if it's top 40 material it's rarely worth anything just because lots of people bought it in the first place so the 2nd hand market is usually flooded. For all the hassle that it's worth you're probably just as well putting it into a charity shop. I'd rather they made a quid out of it than getting 40p from music magpie!0 -
You have an option on musicMagpie to donate your payment straight to charity

I buy and sell vinyl for a living and recently someone who I bought a record collection from gave 250 cd albums with the records. What I did was go on http://uk.webuy.com/sell/ and any that were worth 30p or more sold to them instore and the rest to Music magpie. Thing I noticed about CEX is that they either offer pretty well or 1p each, no way im selling any or 1p. I managed to get £145 for the lot by the time I was done which was pretty good considering there was no classical or obscure stuff in there. CEX will give you a lot more in vouchers than cash.0
