Free M & S vouchers from AA loans

Have you taken out an AA car loan in the last 6-9 months. If so did you recieve a voucher entitling you to a free car inspection. Bear with me, If like me and the voucher is still valid and you didn't use it at the time, you'll be glad to know the AA have stopped doing car inspections and so the voucher is worthless..... or is it?

If you phone the number to arrange an inspection and leave your details on the answer phone one of those "very very nice" people from the AA will ring you back, check your loan details and offer to compensate you by giving you M&S vouchers, basically asking you to name your price. I said £50 please and was immediatly told ok they will be with you in 10-14 days, and now they've arrived. I wasn't going to use the free inspection anyway, but they don't know that.

I suspect you may be able to get over £100 from them this way, but I hadn't looked into the price of these inspections until after they called me.

Anyway I know its a long shot but if there's anyone out there with one of theseAA inspection vouchers or you know anyone, tell them they may just get some free M&S vouchers. :j
