I bought a bag of frozen chicken pieces from supermarket (Asda...?) and Im sure it said cook from frozen...

Put them in a sealed freezer bag and put the bag into a bowl of cold water. Change the water every 10/15 minutes until they're defrosted. Don't use warm water though as any bugs will multiply quicker, cold tap water is 'warm' enough to defrost meat. It's quicker than leaving them out on the side to defrost.
If you're going to be slicing the chicken breasts then do it while they're still partially frozen as they're easier to slice and defrost really quickly once sliced.Just run, run and keep on running!0 -

I would increase the cooking time under the foil and reduce the uncovered cooking time, maybe to the last 5 minutes only.
